Since 1998, Mr. Egan has been a managing partner of Carruth Associates, a management company. He currently serves on the board of directors of Progress Software Corp. Mr. Egan previously served on the board of directors of Verint Systems Inc., a customer experience company, EMC Corporation, a publicly held provider of computer storage systems and software, prior to its acquisition by Dell, and VMWare, a leader in virtualization and cloud infrastructure.
Mr. Egan formerly served on the Board of Trustees at Boston College until 2018 and currently serves as a director for a privately held company.
