As area vice president of engineering for NETSCOUT’s threat and mitigation products, Hardik Modi leads teams responsible for all aspects of threat intelligence, including threat research and collections.
A highly sought-after byproduct of Modi’s threat intelligence research with NETSCOUT’s ATLAS Security Engineering and Response Team (ASERT) is the creation and distribution of NETSCOUT’s semi-annual Threat Intelligence Report, which analyzes the global threat landscape, including distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack campaigns, advanced persistent threat (APT) groups, Internet of Things (IoT) vulnerabilities, and crimeware.
He also oversees the creation of security content for such industry-leading NETSCOUT security and mitigation products as the award-winning Arbor Availability Protection System (APS) portfolio, the world’s most widely used DDoS mitigation technology.
Modi has two decades of experience in threat intelligence, network and security product design and research, and software engineering.
